CVD Establishes Position of Lead Independent Director
CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y., (Business Wire) – September 12, 2018 – CVD Equipment Corporation (NASDAQ: CVV), a leading provider of chemical vapor deposition systems, today announced that its Board of Directors has established the new position of Lead Independent Director and the Company’s independent directors unanimously elected Lawrence J. Waldman to the newly created position.
In his new role, Mr. Waldman’s responsibilities will include coordinating the activities of the independent directors and serving as a liaison between the President/ CEO the other independent directors and helping to facilitate the Board’s oversight and shareholder responsiveness.
